Taja Jacobs is Chief Sustainability Officer for Celebrity’s Management Co. LLC, parent company to Celebrity’s Soul Food, and the Chief Operating Officer for Dr. J, the Counselor an entertainment company. Celebrity’s Soul Food is the first and “Fastest Growing National soul food franchise in America. Taja Jacobs founded the company with her husband, Dr. Fredrick Jacobs. Celebrity’s Soul Food is a quality casual restaurant concept that serves up freshly prepared meals paired with exceptional hospitality. Jacobs’ achievements in the food service space include launching three restaurant concepts, increasing revenue by more than 150% over the course of a single year, and offering executive catering services or visits from numerous celebrities, such as Steve Harvey, Kirk Franklin, Fantasia, SWV, Stoney Jackson, Monica, Warren G, Flex Alexander, Shanice Wilson, and Ashanti. She also has established experience in restaurant franchising and real estate development. Prior to founding and spearheading Celebrity’s Soul Food, Taja Jacobs served in corporate, real estate, and entrepreneurial capacities for more than 20 years. Her experience includes corporate human resources, management, outplacement, and customer service management. She also mastered associated subcategories, such as budgeting, forecasting, and training. Jacobs’ is also the Chief Operating Officer of Dr. J the Counselor which houses their entertainment platform. She is a talented and versatile individual with extensive experience as a national radio and television personality. She is the Co-host of the “Dr. J the Counselor,” Show which is a national Podcast that airs on music legend Stevie Wonder’s Los Angeles-based station, KJLH 102.3 website. Through this Podcast show, she is affectionally known as Lady J and has a segment entitled “Let’s be clear”. Her mission is to bring clarity to all, as she deems it advantageous to define reality so that people can address their issues. She inspires, and counsels their listeners on various essential topics and aspects of relationships. She is co-author of the soon-to-be-released book “Do I Want to Stay Married?” (Winter 2020). The book aims to help couples who are at a crossroads. Taja Jacobs is also a practicing pastor.
